Shanshan holds a Rural and Urban Planning degree, from her native country China. Following completion of her Master’s in Spatial Planning and Development at Cardiff University, she joined KEW Planning in September 2022 as a Planner.

Shanshan has previously worked with a state-owned planning consultancy in China, where she assisted in local plan making, provided written reports for regeneration schemes and liaised with planning officers. She is a strong, logical and analytical thinker, who is always passionate about new challenges in her work. Shanshan is a Licentiate member of the RTPI.

Shanshan relaxes in her ‘happy place’ of the kitchen being an accomplished home cook. She also enjoys travelling to countries and cities that she has studied during her education.
