This is notification of commencement of the Pre-Application Consultation Stage, in line with the statutory requirements of the Planning (Wales) Act 2015.  The date of commencement is 6^th June 2025, and all responses must be received by July 4^th 2025. 

What are the proposals:

The proposal relates to the Demolition of blocks D1 (Learning Hub), D2 (Drama), D3, G (WBQ), H (Gym), K (Conference) and L (Caretaker house), partial demolition and repurposing of blocks A/B/C (Main block) and creation of new sports and teaching facilities at Caerleon Comprehensive School, Cold Bath Road, Caerleon, Newport NP18 1NF.

Following this consultation, a full planning application will be submitted for consideration by the Local Planning Authority.
